Hi, I'm Jasmine! I'm 30 something, and I have been diagnosed with Bipolar II, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and mild OCD.
It is my firm belief that Mental Health and Illnesses should be treated like any other disease such as Diabetes or Heart Disease. I hope that through sharing my journey, I can help to end some of the stigma associated with Mental Illness, bring awareness to those who don't have much knowledge on it, and spread joy and a sense of normalcy for those who struggle with it every day as I do.
I work a full-time job and have a loving husband, two dogs, and a beta fish named Frank. I've been called dramatic, eccentric, crazy. Growing up, I was loud and impulsive and, honestly, a hot mess. Had Mental Health been taken more seriously, and researched more when I was a child, it would have been so beneficial to my development.
If you have any questions, respectful comments, want to share your own experiences with me, or simply need someone to talk to, please reach out. There is always someone here for you. Mental health matters, and so do you.
