- It’s all in your head
- you have nothing to be sad about
- calm down!
- just think positive
- have you tried meditation?
- You should change your diet
- All those medications can’t be good for you, have you tried the natural route
- Anxiety/depression/bipolar etc. isn’t real
- You just have to change your way of thinking
- you’re too smart/pretty/successful/etc. to be depressed
- I don’t believe in all that stuff
- Therapy is for people who are weak
- Stop acting crazy/insane/nuts
- Just cheer up.
