You are the architect of all my desires and needs. Everything I have given, you have added brick and mortar to and made greater. You have created a skyline out of the rubble that I was. You build me up every day, pulling me out of the ash and destruction that I carry in my mind. Creating sunlight and blue skies over an infinite city. This journey with you is ever changing and evolving every moment we are together. I still can’t wait to see you each night and hear your voice. I still feel butterflies when you say the word “wife”. I pray for you. For us. That we will always be this happy, that we will always hold each other the way we do now. Kiss each other the way we kissed that first night you touched me. You looked straight through me to my soul, you saw the darkness there and you cradled it in your hands. Starting a flame that has only grown into a raging fire. You are still the only one that can pull me out of myself and make me smile while inside I am rain and storm. I love you. I have always loved you, and I always will.
