I am floating
Weightless and wandering
Sometimes I feel you there
A long lost memory
Bubbles up
Stirs like flame
And I’m ignited again
As if you’re right here in front of me
I can reach out to your silhouette
And grasp at the shadows
Opening my mouth to scream
But there is no sound
Just air
Compressed too long
And then I’m gone forever.
